South Cotabato’s Liza Enamno named outstanding district nutrition program coordinator

Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines | September 18, 2025 —The National Nutrition Council (NNC) Region XII has named Ms. Liza Enamno as the Outstanding District Nutrition Program Coordinator in recognition of her unwavering service and dedication to South Cotabato’s nutrition initiatives.

The recognition forms part of NNC XII’s annual awarding ceremony that honors local government units and nutrition focal points across the region for their exceptional performance in managing and implementing nutrition programs in the previous year.

Enamno’s tireless commitment to advancing nutrition has significantly contributed to the province’s consistent achievements in addressing malnutrition and improving community health outcomes.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition. For me, it is not just a personal award but a tribute to every barangay nutrition scholar, every health worker, and every volunteer who has stood by our community amid many challenges,” she said.

Ms. Enamno holds the position of District Nutrition Program Coordinator in South Cotabato. In this capacity, she works closely with barangay‐level nutrition scholars, LGU offices, and provincial nutrition committees to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nutrition interventions.

Aside from this individual recognition, South Cotabato will also be conferred with several major awards, including the RAISE Award (Regional Awardee for Innovative Service Delivery in Eradicating Malnutrition), the TREND Award (Top Recognition in Engaging Network Development for Nutrition Program), and a finalist spot for the Regional Webby Award for best news article.

The awarding ceremony is set on September 26 in Koronadal City, bringing together champions of nutrition from across Region XII to celebrate collective efforts in building healthier and stronger communities.
