The local government unit of Kidapawan City, the capital and lone city of North Cotabato province recently visited the province to learn from its best environment practices particularly on health care waste treatment.
Provincial Environment Management Officer Siegfred Flaviano together with Supervising Environment Management Specialist Elbe Balucanag presented the province’ newly-operated Health Care Waste Treatment Facility through an audio-visual production to the visitors.
Joining Kidapawam City LGU were private hospital operators in the city that include Dizon Hospital, Kidapawan City Doctors Hospital, Magway Hospital, Manuel Hospital, Kidapawan City Hospital and Malawan Hospital.
Both the City LGU and private health care providers have shown interest in acquiring a pyro-clave system similar to that of the province to treat their hospital wastes.
RAD Green Solutions Inc., the supplier of South Cotabato’s pyro-clave represented by its Marketing Manager Yeng Ansaldo, likewise presented their company profile including the marketing and production aspects to the visitors, to acquaint them on how the company operates.
After a brief luncheon, the group accompanied by Environment Management Specialist II Genie Famisan, HCWTF supervisor and Community Development Assistant II Leo Atangan went to the treatment facility for an on-site visit.
