SP approves 3954 resolutions in the last six years

Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines | September 3, 2025 – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of South Cotabato has reviewed and approved 3,954 resolutions from July 2019 to the present date, beginning with the first term of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., in its commitment to deliver and implement “Tama at Maayos na Serbisyo.”

These resolutions reflect the collective efforts of the various committees within the legislative body, ensuring that concerns and issues across the province and its municipalities are properly addressed. This includes the approval of infrastructure, health, education, and livelihood projects aimed at improving the quality of life for constituents.

According to Hon. Arthur Y. Pinggoy, Jr., Provincial Vice Governor and presiding officer of the 15th Sanguniang Panlalawigan, said the SP is working hard to avoid pending referrals.

What is important is that ang line of communication is open between the executive and legislative departments,” Vice Governor Pinggoy added.

This highlights the legislative body’s commitment to transparency and accountability by supporting investigations, audits, and policy reviews when necessary.

These accomplishments are made possible through strong collaboration between the legislative and executive departments of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, with the executive branch—led by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr.—playing a vital role in implementing policies, delivering services, and ensuring that approved resolutions are translated into concrete programs that benefit the people.
