T’nalak Festival releases updated stall map, installation timeline for ‘ukay-ukay,’ refreshments and amusement rides

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The streets of Koronadal are gearing up once again as organizers of the T’nalak Festival 2026 lock in the final layout of concession areas and release the installation schedule for rides, food hubs, and commercial stalls ahead of the month-long celebration.

T’nalak Committee Chairperson on Ukay-Ukay, Refreshments, and Amusement Rides Mario Sorongon said the overall design of this year’s festival grounds closely mirrors last year’s setup, with only minor adjustments made to accommodate restrictions inside Rizal Park, which remains under ongoing construction.

“Pareho lang gihapon sang nagligad nga tuig ang venues pero may slight changes, labi na gid sa amusement rides kay may restrictions sa sulod sang Rizal Park,” Sorongon explained.

Amusement rides will begin taking shape starting June 5 along JC Avenue, signaling the early buildup of festival energy in the city center.

By June 10, activity expands further as ukay-ukay vendors and refreshment stalls start their installations.

Ukay-ukay booths will stretch across portions of Bonifacio Street, while food and refreshment areas will line Waling-Waling Street, extending toward the DPWH office and the Notre Dame of Marbel University area.

Souvenir stalls, meanwhile, will be positioned along Alunan Avenue near the LBC vicinity.

This year’s lineup includes 32 ukay-ukay stalls, 55 refreshment booths, 13 food stalls, 20 RTW vendors, and 45 souvenir outlets, forming one of the most structured festival markets in recent years.

Sorongon added that key utility requirements, including electrical and water setups, have already been largely approved, clearing the way for faster and more organized installation across all designated zones.

“Halos approved naman ang electrical kag water plan,” he said, noting that preparations are now focused on ensuring smooth operations once vendors begin setting up.

With installation days approaching, the city is steadily shifting from planning to full-scale festival build-up, transforming familiar streets once again into a vibrant corridor of commerce, culture, and celebration.
