The Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit led by Senior Tourism Operations Officer Argie Ryan Asaria and Arts & Culture Coordinator Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan recently inaugurated through ribbon-cutting ceremony the Loom Weaving Equipment of Fu Yabing School of Living Traditions (SLT) located at Sitio Amguo, Barangay Landan, Polomolok.
Costing sround P50,000.00, it consist of 3 equipment that will be use by tabih weavers residing in the B’laan community.
Cagaanan confirmed that aside from equipment, ACTM added another P50,000.00 for weaving materials such as threads, mannequins, among others.
Asaria likewise assured during the inauguration that the province had already approved P 1.5 million additional fund and is now undergoing the bidding process for the improvement of the SLT. The 2-storey SLT was initially funded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
