South Cotabato – The South Cotabato Integrity Circle has taken a proactive role in reinforcing values-driven governance by highlighting the importance of the Provincial Government’s Core Values in the delivery of public service, through monthly thought-sharing forums.
Jennifer Guadalupe, Project Development Officer III, the initiative serves as a platform for provincial officials, employees and stakeholders to openly discuss ethical leadership, accountability, and professionalism in government service.
“Through these regular sessions, both employees and officials are encouraged to reflect on how the province’s core values can be practiced in their respective offices and translated into more responsive and people-centered public service,”Guadalupe said.
Meanwhile, Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. underscored the significance of values-based governance in sustaining public trust and improving service delivery.
“Ang serbisyo publiko dapat ginahimo nga may integridad, kahusayan, kag malinaw nga responsibilidad. Kon may ara kita sang husto nga mga balor, mas mangin epektibo kag masaligan ang aton panggobyerno,” the Governor said.
The Integrity Circle emphasized that embedding core values into daily government operations strengthens transparency and accountability across all levels of the provincial government.
By promoting open dialogue and shared responsibility, the group aims to cultivate a culture where ethical conduct becomes a standard practice rather than an exception.
Aligned with the provincial administration’s “Tama at Maayos na Serbisyo” advocacy, the monthly thought-sharing forums continue to inspire public servants to uphold integrity and excellence in their work.
The South Cotabato Integrity Circle remains committed to advancing values-driven governance, ensuring that every government action reflects the principles and commitment of the Provincial Government to its people.
