The Province of South Cotabato concluded their Women’s Month celebration with the much-anticipated iJuana Search and iJuana Sayawit Competition at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center. The event’s main objectives were to highlight various women’s extraordinary talents, intelligence, and beauty, as well as to reaffirm their limitless potential and vital roles in society.
The iJuana Search Competition recognized women who were breaking new ground in traditionally male-dominated fields, emphasizing that gender should never be a barrier to success. Ms. Shyren Dearos Llena, Juana Panday of Surallah Municipality, was crowned Ms. iJuanaSearch 2025, defeating seven other competitors. The first runner-up was Anshiele S. Cañada, while the second runner-up was Christle Faith D. Diente.
Parallel to this, at the iJuana Sayawit Competition, dance performers of the Municipality of Polomolok once again demonstrated their fantastic skills on stage with their high-energy performances that wowed the audience and garnered the championship trophy. The City of Koronadal and Municipality of Norala were also impressive, finishing 1st and 2nd runner-up, respectively.
Cash prizes were given to the iJuana Sayawit Competition winners, who received ₱14,500 as champions, ₱12,500 as first runners-up, ₱9,500 as second runners-up, and ₱5,000 as consolation prizes. Ms. iJuanaSearch 2025 received ₱7,000 for winning the iJuana Search Competition, while the first and second place winners received ₱5,500 and ₱4,500, respectively. The winners of the consolation prize received ₱3,000, while the cash prizes for special awards, such as Best in Occupational Attire and Best in Preliminary Interview, were ₱500 each.
This motivational event was enabled through concerted action by the Office of the Provincial Population Officer, the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer, Municipal Local Government Units, and other key stakeholders. Their continued assistance and commitment were essential to making this event a success, strengthening the united effort to empower and uplift women in every sector.
