The municipality of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato’s eco-cultura; destination, is the top tourist destination for the month of August this year, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit disclosed.
Lake Sebu registered 78,809 visitors, with excursionists topping the list with 69,823 while overnight guests totaled 8,983. Fourteen (14) foreign visitors visited said town that is also famous for its variety of tilapia delicacies.
Following Lake Sebu is Banga which is dubbed the inland resort capital with 25, 225 while placing third is Tupi with 20,818.
The rest of the visitor arrivals were shared by Tampakan wuth 13,270, City of Koronadal with 12,799, Surallah – 12,467 T’boli – 3,730, Polomolok – 1,542, Sto. Nino – 648, Tantangan – 581,
The total registered visitors for the month of August is 169,889.
