Koronadal City, South Cotabato- To strengthen the campaign against rabies in the province, the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVet) has recorded more than 31,000 head of dogs and cats already vaccinated
According to PVet officer Dra. Flora D. Bigot, DVM, the office of the Municipal/City agriculture and the Barangay Animal Health Workers are working together in the implementation of this program.
Pvet Dra. Bigot said during the conduct of Monday convocation ceremony.
Pvet reiterated that due to high numbers of rabies cases in the province, there should be a massive vaccination program but for some municipalities it was not easy to penetrate due to some covid related restrictions.
She added.
They assured that minimum health protocols were strictly followed in the conduct of this activity.
