KORONADAL CITY- The Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani commend the local contact tracing system known as “South Cotabato COVID19 Contact Tracing System” or SCCCTS of the province of South Cotabato.
Earlier this week, the respective provincial planning officers and information technology officers of each province came and witnessed the demonstration and orientation presented by the IT experts in this province.
They are grateful to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the initiative of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. as this system will be a big help to strengthen the contact tracing in most reliable, effective, and applicable to all since it is locally made.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa Provincial Government ng South Cotabato kasi nag come up sila nitong system na malaking tulong paano natin ma trace yung isang problema natin sa covid-19 pandemic.” Omar Alam, IT head of the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat said during the interview.
After almost 1 hour demo and orientation, he said that it was good since it is user-friendly; easy to use even the ordinary person can simply join since it does not require smartphones and internet connections.
“Okay siya maganda at simple lang at madali kasi kahit ordinaryong tao kaya niya i operate kasi user-friendly lang siya at the same time wala siya masyadong maraming proseso.” He amphasized.
Other countries such as Wuhan, China the epicenter of this pandemic used this tool for an effective and fast system in terms of contact tracing.
“Nagamit na rin ito sa ibang bansa gaya ng Wuhan, meron din silang ganito. So, effective naman kasi kung titingnan natin yung purpose ng system napakalaking tulong kasi mas pinadali ang trabaho ng frontliners natin dahil sa tools na ito. Kaya malaking tulong talaga yung system na ginawa ng South Cotabato.” He added.
It is expected that as soon as possible it will be operational so that they can also adapt to their provinces.
“Sana as early as possible ma deploy na para magamit talaga natin, sa amin bilang IT malaking tulong talaga sa ating lahat lalong-lalo na sa monitoring.” He appeals.
Meanwhile, the distribution, filling up of forms, and encoding are continuous until now so that by the earliest possible time we can have the system that is fast, effective, and can be available for all.
