T’BOLI, SOUTH COTABATO- The people of Sitio Blit, Brgy Ned, Lake Sebu are grateful to receive their solar panels after finishing the Photovoltaic Installation NC II na conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority 12.
At least 100 households will experience a home that has lights at night after almost seven (7) decades of unlighted.
According to sitio leader Nalem Dodim, 44 years old that this is the first time to celebrate the Christmas to have a bright home after TESDA 12 gives a solar panel to their community.
In addition, it is hard for his children to study at night and make home works since their home have no light.
But because of the solar panels Dodim is now sure that they can now help and teach their children even during at night.
The sitio blit is one among the sitio in region 12 that benefits the solar panels from TESDA through the project TALA or TESDA “Alay ay Liwanag at Asenso.”
Aside from 100 solar panels there are 150 additional to maximize all the households in the community.
Meanwhile, in early January 2020 TESDA Director General Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña mandates to provide lights to the community that electricity are not present.
