KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the leadership of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., assures our Muslim brothers and sisters to recognize all the Muslim holidays celebrated in this province.
Tamayo serves as a guest speaker in the conduct of the convocation ceremony of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XII said that here in the province, Muslim holidays will be recognized among our Muslim brothers and sisters.
“Tinitiyak natin dito sa ating probinsiya, na maibigay lahat ng Muslim holidays na hinihingi ng mga kapatid nating muslim.” He said.
He added, that here in the province, all tribes will be given equal opportunities to celebrate their tribal holidays.
“Lahat ibinibigay natin, dahil gusto kung iparamdam sa lahat na sa probinsiya ng South Cotabato walang tribo-tribo dito, lahat ibibigay natin at lahat bibigyan natin ng oportunidad.” He said.
Furthermore, all Muslim holidays in the province was observed through the declaration of local non-working day in all government offices for them to commemorate and to celebrate.
