The South Cotabato Medical Society (SCMC) reminds and continues appealing to the public to follow and strengthen the minimum health protocols imposed by the authority.
These measures aim to control the spread of COVID-19, as the new variant (DELTA variant) had been detected in some areas of the province.
As of now, all public and private hospital beds for covid-19 patients are fully occupied and the number of patients is waiting to enter the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Here are health protocols that need to strictly observe:
- Wearing of facemask and face shield
- Proper handwashing
- 1-2 meters social distancing
Also, MCSC encourages the public to have medical attention as symptoms arise and provide necessary information for proper medical intervention.
Furthermore, vaccination should not be feared because this is one of the visible answers to lessen the effect by the time you are hit by covid-19.
