CITY OF KORONADAL — South Cotabato will celebrate National Tourism Month (NTM) on September with series of activities from September 1 – 7, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) confirmed.
ACTM Marketing and Promotions chief Francisco M. Cerbo Jr. disclosed that 20 National Officers of the Association of Tourism Officers in the Philippines (ATOP) will grace the NTM celebration and will conduct their 3rd Quarterly Board Meeting in the afternoon of September 1 at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, this city.
NTM Opening Ceremony will be held at KCC Mall Events Center here on September 1 (6pm). The first judging of the Tourism Product Booth Display will be held also on the opening day.
The province will likewise host a Governor’s Night at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill for the ATOP officials on September 2 (7pm) after their brief tour of South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat.The highlight of said activity will be the Search of the Ginoong Turismo Talent Presentation.
The rest of the daily activities are as follows: September 3 – Quiz Bowl (KCC Mall Events Center-2pm); September 4 – South Cotabato Family Rondalla & South Cotabato Chorale Concert (KCC Mall Events Center-4pm); September 5 – LGBTQ Day (KCC Mall Events Center – 8am); September 6 – Final Judging Tourism Product Booth Display & Vlogging Contest (KCC Mall Events Center-8am); September 7 – 2022 South Cotabato Ginoong Turismo Coronation Night and Awarding Ceremony of Tourism Month Celebration at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill here.
Meanwhile, NTM Continuing Events for the week-long activity are September 1-7 – Tourism Product Booth Display and Selling and “Libreng Bakuna Para sa Turismo” c/o PIO at 4th Floor KCC Mall of Marbel Events Center and Online Tourism Product Selling, Promoting and Marketing.
