“South Cotabato is still my priority” – Gov. Tamayo

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. assures that his role as the province’s chief executive is still a priority amid his various positions at the national level.

Precisely a month after he was elected as the National President of the League of Provinces of the Philippines on August 1, 2022, Governor  Tamayo was chosen anew as the interim Chairman of the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP)  during the 97th National Executive Board Meeting of ULAP held at EDSA Shangri-la in Manila on September 1, 2022.

Having two national positions,  Governor Tamayo assures his constituents that his duties and functions as the chief executive of the province are still his top concerns.

“Hindi ito magiging balakid sa aking tungkulin bilang gobernadora dahil naitalaga ko na sa aking mga kasamahan ang ibang responsibilidad” he said,

He disclosed that the organization had formed special committees to attend to various functions, be it in congress, the senate, the Malacanang, or other departments in the national agencies.

“Ito ay upang mapagtuonan ko rin ng pansin ang South Cotabato,” He said,

Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) is the umbrella organization of all leagues of local government units (LGUs) and locally elected government officials,  composed of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Liga ng Mga Barangay (LnB) League of Vice Governors of the Philippines (LVGP) Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VMLP) Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines (PBMLP) Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Lady Local Legislators’ League National Movement of Young Legislators.
