Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) consolidated the results of the Best in Community Garden award that were chosen among the Top 5 Search for Cleanest & Greenest Contest winners per LGU.
The top 3 winners in the Best in Community Garden were already chosen during the comso;ideation and will be awarded cash incenrive of P20,000 each during the South Cotabato Ecology Day on November 18.
Ecology Day activities include symposium, Quiz Bee (in which questions will be taken from lectures in the symposium) that will be participated by representatives of the 55 winning barangays of the Clean and Green Contest, and awarding of certificates to environment partners.
TWG members consisted of representatives from provincial offices PEMO, PIO, IPHO, PPDO, PGO-ACTM and NGO South Cotabato Foundation Inc. and private sector Dole Philippines.
The month of November is celebrated as Clean Air Moth, Environmental Awareness Month and Climate Change Consciousness Week.
