The Provincial League of Local Envisonment & Natural Resources Officers (PLLENRO) – South Cotanato and piggery and poultry giant Biotech Farms, Inc. based in Banga town recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the purchase of waste/used papers province-wide.
Based from the signed MOA, Biotech Farms committed to purchase 10 tons of waste/used paper at P3.00 per kilogram which will be processed as egg tray in their fiber peocessing plant. Biotech is not only a supplier of hog and pork meat products, but also supplies fresh egg and other poultry products.
PLLENRO’s responsibility on the other hand, is to act as consolidator per LGU of said waste/used papers that will be purchased by Biotech Faarms.
Out of the P3.00 per kilogram of waste paper [urchase, P2.50 will go to the seller while the P0.50 will be retained by PLLENRO.
Signing on behalf of Biotech Farms is Engr. Jeffrey Bondoc while on behalf of PLLENRO is Eilleen Estrada, PLLENRO President and Municipal Environment & Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) of Tampakan.
