Dry-run of electronic medical records in govt hospitals set

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. announced the dry-run of the electronic medical record in government hospitals in the province in preparation for the implementation of the KonsulTa package of Philhealth.
The Konsulta Package is the provision of primary health services based on the health risks and needs of the patients with the continued improvement of the services, it has expanded to include targeted health risk screening and assessment, initial, and follow-up consultations, selected laboratory tests, drugs, and medicines as needed by the patients and as recommended by their primary care physician.
Governor Tamayo said he fully supports Universal Health Care and he reiterated the early implementation of the program in the province and its full implementation by 2025.
He added that he also implemented the “ No Balance Billing” policy under his free hospitalization program upon his assumption to office as the local chief executive of the province.
Starting this month of February, the governor announced the hiring of additional 12,000 health workers to oversee the health status of the people in the community.
“I believe in the program of Philhealth and I am in support of these initiatives since I know, that this is of big help to our constituents,” He said,
