South Cotabato receives two awards

The province of South Cotabato headed by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. was a recipient of two awards, Regional awardee for the Anti-Drug Abuse Council, and Drug-Free Workplace Seals.
During the Monday Convocation held at the Capitol Covered Court earlier today, Governor Tamayo received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the province as the ADAC Regional awardee after garnering a total point score of 90.5% functionality point based on the conduct of the 2021 Performance Audit.
Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Sonia Lamis formally turned over the to Governor Tamayo the said a plaque on behalf of Provincial ADAC.
Also given was the Outstanding Drug-Free Workplace award in compliance with the Drug-Free workplace Seal Commitment program for the performance year 2022.
Provincial Human Resource Management Officer Fredaliza Gazo turned over to Governor Tamayo the plaque of recognition which was assisted by Vice-Governor Arthur Y. Pingoy Jr. and other provincial Officials.
Said awards were received during the awarding ceremony held at the Farm At Carpenter Hill last week, spearheaded by the Department of Interior and Local Government Region 12.
Aside from the province, six municipalities were also adjudged as Anti-Drug Abuse Council Regional Awardees. These are the towns of Tupi, Polomolok, Tantangan, Tampakan, Norala, and Surallah.
The municipality of Banga was also adjudged as Drug-Free Workplace Seal certified.
