Some 55,356 tourists comprising of same day visitors and overnight guests trekked to South Cotabato during the Holy Week season, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit disclosed.
Richie Matunding, ACTMU Statiscian disclosed that domestic tourists totaled 55,324 while foreign guests registered 32, consisting of Canadian, French, Iranian, Australian, Russian, Chinese and Indian.
he Holy Week season period runs from April 2 to 10, ACTMU pointed out in their report.
Meanwhile, Same Day Visitors and Overnight Guests, Matunding added, totaled 51,324 and 4,032, respectively.
The Top 5 Most Visited Tourist Attractions during the Holy Week season are Our Lady of Divine Mercy Shrine and Retreat House (Lake Sebu), SG Farm (Tupi), Seven Falls (Lake Sebu), Sa Balai Lake View Resort (Lake Sebu), Punta Isla Lake Resort (Lake Sebu).
