A total of 1,657,063 visitors trooped to South Cotabato from January to October this year, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU) reported.
As per record, the summer month of April is considered the favorite which registered 216.224 Same Day Tourists and Overnight Guests for the 10-month period.
omplimenting the month of April are the months of March and May with 140,048 and 139,180 visitors, respectively.
Meanwhile, the month of July which is dubbed as festival month due to the annual T’nalak Festival that coincided with the South Cotabato Foundation Anniversary on July 18, contributed 196,383 arrivals.
Despite being considered as non-vacation months due to classes in all levels, arrivals in the months of June totaled 120,407, August – 194,052, September – 149,785 and October – 166,309.
The cool months of January and February likewise added substantial visitors for the province with registered arrivals of 174,753 and 139,922, respectively.
