Lake Sebu, Banga and Tampakan are the top 3 tourist destinations in South Cotabato for the period January to February 2024, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACtTM) Unit reported.
ACTMU Statistician Richie Matunding said that Lake Sebu recorded 55,028, Banga 25,816 and Tampakan 21,408, making them the top 3 among the LGUs of the province favored by visitors.
The visitor arrival record of the rest of the LGUs are as follows; City of Koronadal – 14,557, Norala – 13,371, Polomolok – 6,874, Sto. Nino – 517, Surallah – 10,457, Tantangan – 278, T’boli – 2,211, Tupi – 18,118
Same Day Visitors and Overnight Guests comprising both domestic and foreign visitors, totaled 147,150 and 21,482, respectively, for the 2-month period.
