Some 455 Americans visited South Cotabato from January to March 2024, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.

        ACTMU disclosed that the total number of foreign visitors reached 812, with March registering 419, while February and January recorded 252 and 141, respectively.

         Foreign visitors that also came in droves were our Asian neighbors from Singapore – 66, India – 56, China – 39, Japan – 31, South Korea – 23, while Turkey contributed 4 and Indonesia – 2.

          Other countries that contributed were Australia – 59, , Germany – 25, Canada – 10. Single digit contributors meanwhile were Norway – 9, Denmark – 8, New Zealand – 6, Spain – 3, Turkey – 3, Belgium – , 2, France – 2, Italy – 2, The Netherlands – 2, Russia – 2, Switzerland – 2, , United Kingdom  – 2.  

United Arab Emirates, the lone Arab country, added 2 visitors.
