South Cotabato, Philippines— The Responders Auxiliary Police (RAP) employees of South Cotabato received their first honorarium. In an interview, beneficiaries Lester Hope Latimban, Mc Rheasan J. Maghuyop, and Ruby V. Pendatun, criminology graduates, expressed their gratitude for the financial support.
Each received 6,000 pesos as part of their honorarium for the first month.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. hired 195 RAP members across South Cotabato. These personnel were selected as team leaders in their respective barangays to help strengthen the Re-enforced Services Task Force at the grassroots level and implement peace and order programs.
Lester Hope Latimban said, “I am thankful to Gov. Tamayo for his effort in supporting South Cotabato. He ensures we are never left behind. It allows us to apply what we have learned in school.”

Lester Hope B. Latimban, on the other hand, stated that Mc Rheasan J. Maghuyop, a 24-year-old from Barangay Lopez Jaena, Norala, South Cotabato, also expressed his appreciation, “I am grateful to Gov. Tamayo for hiring criminology graduates like us and allowing us to experience proper governance and contribute to the development of our province.

Meanwhile, Ruby V. Pendatun from Barangay Basag, Tboli, South Cotabato, shared her joy in being chosen as a RAP member.
“I am blessed to be part of this team and thankful for the opportunity to serve and monitor situations like floods in our community. I appreciate the kindness of Gov. Tamayo,” she added.
This program is under the Peace and Order Council (POC), which aims to enhance the peace and order efforts through dedicated local responders.
