PCDO Focuses on Strengthening Accreditation of CSOs and NGOs in South Cotabato

South Cotabato, Philippines – The Provincial Cooperatives Development Office (PCDO) is currently prioritizing efforts to strengthen the accreditation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), cooperatives, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) across the province.

This initiative aligns with the provisions of Republic Act 7160, which mandates the accreditation of CSOs, NGOs, and cooperatives to ensure their active participation in local governance.

Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer and Acting Provincial Administrator, Atty. Renette B. Bergado, continues to call on unaccredited CSOs, NGOs, and cooperatives in the province to complete their accreditation to gain official recognition and participate in developmental programs.

Meanwhile, the PCDO continues to provide financial and technical assistance to various peoples organizations operating in the province. Accredited CSOs, NGOs, and cooperatives play a vital role in enhancing public participation and supporting local government initiatives geared toward nation-building and community development.

Interested organizations are encouraged to coordinate with the Provincial Cooperatives Development Office, located on the third floor of the left wing of the Provincial Capitol compound.
