Tnalak Festival committee prepares 95 stalls for 2025 Tnalak Strip

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotbato, Philippines – The Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) confirmed that 95 food and sponsor stalls will operate along Alunan Avenue for the upcoming Tnalak Festival 2025.

PGSO Officer-in-Charge and Tnalak Strip chairperson Anna Rose Kasan said the Strip will span from People’s General Merchandise to Notre Dame of Marbel University. Of the total stalls, 60 are concessionaires selected through a draw on June 12, while 35 are sponsor booths.

“The Tnalak Strip will offer a wide variety of food—barbecue, lechon, halal meals, refreshments—suitable for all budgets,” Kasan said in an interview on Tnalak TV.

She explained that the Strip differs from the Tnalak Food Garden, which features larger 6×6-meter stalls and fine dining setups.

“The Strip follows a cowboy-style layout with budget-friendly food and nightly entertainment.”

The Provincial Government in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology already conducted food safety and waste management orientations for concessionaires. The office also coordinated with SOCOTECO I and the Koronadal Water District to supply electricity and water to the stalls. Each 3×3-meter stall has a 15-ampere power allocation and its own meter to avoid system-wide outages.

“We close by midnight, but we ensure the road reopens clean by the next morning,” Kasan said.

“Our environmental office and sanitation teams manage solid waste, and we enforce segregation rules.”

The Strip will operate from July 6 to 17, with daily business hours from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Organizers scheduled a soft opening on July 6 and a grand opening on July 11. On July 18, the final night of the festival, stalls may operate until 2:00 a.m.

Kasan also reported that PGSO coordinated with the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Army, and barangay tanods to ensure public safety.

“We will strictly enforce vehicle restrictions and curfews starting at 2:00 p.m.,” she said. “Only authorized vehicles can enter the Strip area between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for supply refill.”

To manage crowd flow, organizers installed barricades and created access gates at key points along Alunan Avenue. PGSO also collaborated with other festival committees to set up LED walls for spectators along Alunan Avenue.

“We want an organized and peaceful Tnalak Strip. Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. gave us clear instructions, and we are working hard to meet his expectations,” Kasan said.

The Tnalak Festival committee encouraged residents and tourists to visit the Strip and enjoy nightly shows, food, and festivities.

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato will post further updates on its official Facebook page.
