South Cotabato, Koronadal City- Earlier today May 28, 2020, the Department of Health XII (DOH XII) Center for Health Development (CHD) visited the Governor’s office and they are committed to safeguard public health and safety. The Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU) is also intensifying its monitoring and surveillance for COVID-19.
With this, DOH XII CHD allot four hundred forty (440) COVID -19 Collection Kits to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato (PGSO) allowing each Municipality and lone City to have forty (40) collection kits. The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) is in charge in allocation and monitoring of available stocks per MESU/CESU; and prepositioning COVID -19 Collection Kits to be readily available within Municipality/City Epidemiology and Surveillance Units for haste and timely specimen collection. For every used and submitted collection kits to RESU, Covid-19 Collection Kits will be replaced outright.
