The South Cotabato Family Rondalla (SCFR) under the baton of conductor Charles Dumdum conducted a 3-day Outreach/Workshop among Special Program for the Arts (SPA) students of Banga National High School {BNHS} Concuerdas Rondalla in Banga to
Scheduled on June 25 – 27, SCFR composed of 10 members playing the Banduria, Octavina, Double Bass and Guitar of SCFR will spearhead the activity.
Conductor Dumdum presented to the BNHS Concuerdas Rondalla with 3 musical pieces, namely; Mexicana,Don’t Stop (original arrangement by Dumdum) and Visayan Medley Song that was played during the culmination day of the workshop on June 27.
Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan, ACTMU Arts & Culture Coordinator disclosed that the outreach/workshop was conducted annually by SCFR.
BNHS Principal Arnel Gabuat likewise graced the occasion and delivered his message of support for the rondalla and thanked SCFR and PGO-ACTM for conducting the activity.
ast December 17, the outreach/workshop conducted with Polomolok National High School Encore Rondalla culminated with a back-to-back concert of SCFR and PNHS Encore Rondalla at KCC Mall of Marbel Activity Center, City of Koronadal.
The same activity will also be conducted jointly by BNHS and SCFR this coming December 2024.
