Festival Execom sets T’nalak Festival Sked

T’nalak Festival Executive Committee (Execom) has set the tentative schedule of the T’nalak Festival 2015 and 49th Foundation Anniversary of South Cotabato during its recent Execom meeting.

Provincial Administrator and Festival Executive Director Danilo Supe led the setting of the schedule of activities as well the budget of the respective committee together with the 21 Committee Chairpersons in attendance.

The Festival Secretariat led by the Provincial Tourism Office also revealed the official T’nalak Logo, Shirt Design and Theme which is “Sharing Our Best to the World,” retaining last year’s theme.

Tourism Officer Zhaun Barry Agabe also presented the countdown leading to the 2016 T’nalak Festival and 50th Foundation Anniversary, which is a milestone event next year for the province.

The T’nalak Festival will start July 1 – 31, with the main events scheduled July 10 – 18 after the Ecumenical Thanksgiving Celebration on July 9.

Provincial Board Member Vicente de Jesus, Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Committee on Finance Chair disclosed in a radio interview that this year’s T’nalak Festival budget is P 16 million.

The budget is part of the province’s Supplemental Budget #1 recently approved by the SP.
