iJuanaRun Fun-Run Returns for Its Second Year in Celebration of the 2025 Women’s Month

The iJuanaRun Fun-Run will mark its second year as part of the 2025 Women’s Month Celebration in South Cotabato, aiming to promote women’s resilience, strength, and empowerment while encouraging community participation and healthy living.

The event is organized by the Provincial Population Office in partnership with SOX Runners—a private organization of runners and trail runners. This year’s fun run will feature two race categories: 5K and 10K. Which is open to all ages and fitness levels.

With prices of Php 500 for the 5K and Php 600 for the 10K, which include a racing kit, a Race Bib Only option for Php 50 for individuals who just wish to take part in the festivities. The registration deadline is February 28, 2025, although based on demand, an extension might be considered.

The oldest male and female runners in each category, the largest delegation from agencies and schools, and the Best in Costume are among the notable competitors who will get special honors. In appreciation of their hard work, winners will get certificates and prizes.

The City Mayor’s Office of Koronadal, the Bureau of Fire, the South Cotabato Provincial Police Office (SCPPO), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO), the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), and the Red Cross-South Cotabato Chapter are among the important local organizations that work together to arrange the fun run and make sure it is safe and well-managed. Along the race courses, there will also be safety officers and medical professionals.

The iJuanaRun Fun-Run aligns with this year’s Women’s Month theme, “Women Empowerment for Gender Equality: Inclusive and Resilient Society”, promoting health, inclusivity, and community spirit.

In addition to the fun run, the Women’s Month celebration will feature the iJuana Search and iJuana Sayawit on March 13, 2025. The iJuana Search will honor women excelling in traditionally male-dominated professions, while iJuana Sayawit will showcase women’s talents in dance and music.
