Juan Karlos Labajo And Other OPM Bands Highlight Silver T’nalak Festival Closing

The famous bands Sweet Notes and The Secret Band, with popular OPM artist Juan Karlos Labajo, headlined the closing ceremony of Rakrakan sa T’nalak Festival, marking the end of the week-long Silver T’nalak Festival last July 18.

Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. spearheaded the formal declaration of the closing of the Silver 25th T’nalak Festival and the 58th Foundation Anniversary.

According to the governor, the rich culture of South Cotabateños is one of the reasons why the province is united, proving the province’s tagline of “South Cotabato Angat ka Sa Lahat.”

“The culture and history we have [in South Cotabato] will carry us towards progress and development in our province because history and culture unite us – and in this unity, we are certain that we will achieve our dream – for South Cotabato to rise above all,” Governor Tamayo said during the declaration of the closing of this year’s T’nalak Festival.

After the governor’s closing message, a grand fireworks display highlighted the success and joyful conclusion of the week-long festival celebration.

Festival Director and Provincial Information Office Rudy S. Jimenea noted that the celebration was vibrant and generally peaceful this year.
