Our Lady of Divine Mercy Shrine and Retreat House located in Barangay Klubi, Lake Sebu topped the most number of visitor arrival during this year’s Lenten Season in South Cotabato, as per record of the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU).
The shrine, which stood in the cool and hilly portion of the barangay, boasts of a giant statue of Blessed Virgin Mary in front of the retreat house.
Seven Falls also in Lake Sebu, landed second after Our Lady of Divine Mercy Shrine and Retreat House. It set the record for having the highest and the longest zipline in Southeast Asia that is a favorite among adventure-seekers.
T’Daan Kini Falls, again of Lake Sebu made it among the top 5 most visited attraction/site during the Lenten season. Visitors enjoy cooling off in their numerous small waterfalls especially that we are experiencing extreme humid weather nowadays.
SG Farm or short for Strawberry & Guyabano and Magsangyaw Land of Praise which are both from Tupi town, joined Lake Sebu’s attraction/site among the top 5.
