Koronadal City—Local official of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) here wished employees of the Provincial Capitol for the exciting year 2020.
Lawyer Rochelle Mahinay-Sero, Provincial Director, reminded the government employees that the Christmas season is “an opportune time for amendments because of your limitations at work.”
“Commit to improving next year,” Mahinay-Sero said.
She also reminded the Provincial Government of South Cotabato that the second wave of evaluation for Seal of Good Local Governance will happen next year.
“The SGLG is not a competition. This is more than the award. This is a mandate for local government. This is a responsibility for our constituents,” she further explained.
She urged government employees of the values of a public servant which is “Matino, mahusay at maasahan na empleyado ng gobyerno.”
“I am hoping that this is a time for reflection on whatever mistakes and limitations we have committed at work. It is a chance to make some things new,” Mahinay-Sero added.
