South Cotabato will celebrate National Heritage Month (NHM) this month of May through series of activities, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit disclosed.
Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan, ACTMU Arts ^ Culture Coorddinator said that one of the activities is the Capability/Enhancement Training For School of Living Traditions (SLT) Operators from May 23 -25 in Lake Sebu.
In partnership with the Departmment of Trade and Industry XII, some 15 SLT operators are expected to join the training coming from Lake Sebu, T’boli, amd Polomolok towns and City of Koronadal.
Aside from the 3-day training, ACTMU is also planning the Orientation of Pre-Cultural Mapping Project Form and Formulation of Cultural Mapping Plan tentatively scheduled on May 30 -31 with the Resouce Speaker via Zoom platform coming from the National Commission of Culture and The Arts.
The NHM theme for this year is ”Heritage: Chamge and Continuity.”
