The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council chaired by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. supports the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2021 with the theme “Share Facts on Drugs, Save Lives.”

The IDADAIT is celebrated as an annual event observed by members of the United Nations to strengthen action and cooperation for international drug-free society.
Pursuant to the United Nations General Assembly declaration dated 07 December 1987 and Presidential Proclamation No. 264, June 26 each year is declared as IDADAIT.
In the Philippines, the annual observance is spearheaded by the Dangerous Drugs Board and supported by LGUs.
