PGSC celebrates 121st Founding Anniversary of Civil Service Commission

South Cotabato, Koronadal City- The  Provincial Government of South Cotabato (PGSC) is one with Civil Service Commission (CSC) in celebrating it’s 121st Founding Anniversary, with the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”

In recognizing the nationwide month-long celebration of CSC, the PGSC organized various activities such as Special Recognition, Weekly Zumba, Mental Health Forum, Health Campaign, Inter-Cluster Competitions and Loyalty Awarding Ceremony.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect the world and challenge all government agencies in the delivery of basic services and effective responses relative to COVID-19, this year’s activities are meant to provide appreciation, motivation and support to our public service providers who have been essential front-liners in ensuring that the PGSC remains reliable and trustworthy in the most trying times.

The Special Recognition shall be granted to individual/s who have exemplified outstanding performance as recognized by other agencies, In addition, there will be a recognition fro individuals who have greatly contributed in the Province’s fight against COVID-19. Weekly Zumba is an activity to promote the Healthy Lifestyle among employees, a twice a week Zumba session shall be conducted every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Mental Health Forum will be conducted to as part of Mental Health campaign, there will be webinar with topics focused on the promotion of sound mental health in the midst of pandemic. Inter-cluster competitions are online social activities to reconnect the employees from different departments in the agency and to collectively celebrate the small and big victories the province have achieved this far.Loyalty Awarding Ceremony will recognize 48 employees who have reached the 10 and 15 milestone years for the year 2021.

All employees and workers will be part of this celebration and clustering of departments was made for this year’s CSC Month activities.
