South Cotabato, Philippines—-The Provincial Government of South Cotabato recognized departments and units that have attained a 100% or excellent compliance rating for meeting the core requirements of Republic Act 11032 – an Act Promoting the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services, amending for the Purpose Republic Act 9485, otherwise known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.
This year, the committee revealed that 8 out of 25 departments and offices achieved 100% excellence compliance rating while 2 out of 16 units under the office of the Provincial Governor also attained this distinction.
Vice-Governor, Arthur Y. Pingoy Jr., along with the Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on Anti-Red Tape, Atty. Ronalyn C. Gallego presented the certificates of recognition to the heads of offices and key personnel at an awarding ceremony held Monday.
The recipient offices of recognition awards are as follows:
Office of the Provincial Accountant.
Office of the Provincial Budget Officer.
Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator.
South Cotabato Provincial Hospital.
Office of the Provincial General Services Officer.
Office of the Provincial Legal Officer.
Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer.
Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Office of the Provincial Governor Internal Audit Service.
Office of the Provincial Governor –Kabuguason Paglaum Scholarship Grant and Aid.
Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. stressed the importance of compliance as a mark of dedication to making government services more accessible and responsive to the needs of people.
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to efficient and transparent public service,” the governor added.
Based on the FY 2023 cycle overall results, a total of 160 agencies were identified as awardee agencies. This consists of 64 agencies with Excellent rating and 96 agencies with Very Satisfactory rating. Among these agencies, eighteen (18) agencies were identified as top performers across all agency sectors.
For Local Government Units (LGUs), South Cotabato was included in the top five among local government units.
This 2025, the province aims to uphold its silver award in ARTA Report Card Survey 2.0.
