Koronadal City, South Cotabato—The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, under the leadership of Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr., spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative to equip 105 public schools with Smart TVs. The television sets were delivered by Provincial General Services Officer in charge Anne Kasan. The project aims to revolutionize learning experiences for students across the province.
Expressing the governor’s commitment to education, Anne Kasan stated, “Governor Tamayo envisions a future where every student has access to cutting-edge technology to enrich their learning journey. This distribution of Smart TVs is a testament to our dedication to providing quality education to all.”
The Smart TVs, totaling 105 units, are strategically allocated to public schools, with an additional 25 schools that house special programs receiving the high-tech learning tools. Kasan emphasized the inclusive nature of the initiative, stating, “We believe in leaving no student behind. The 25 schools with special programs will benefit immensely from the integration of Smart TVs into their educational programs.”
The Provincial Government has allocated over 4 million pesos from the Special Education Fund to finance the purchase of these Smart TVs. This substantial budget underscores the province’s commitment to leveraging technology in education and creating a more dynamic and engaging learning environment for students.
