TANTANGAN, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial Veterinary Office (PVet) conducts training on specimen collection for Barangay biosafety officers to maintain and ensure the ASF-free province, held at ATI-RTC XII, Tantangan, South Cotabato.
The program was made possible through the collaborative effort of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture Regional Office 12, in commitment to implement the Administrative Order No. 7, series of 2021 or Bantay ASF sa Barangay Program (BAbay ASF).
23 barangay volunteers from the Municipality of Surallah and the City of Koronadal already undergone the training funded by the ATI-Region 12, another 23 barangay volunteers from municipalities of Norala, T’boli, and Sto.Niño also undergone the training for food security and development funded by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
The next batch of municipalities will be undergoing the same training on the 3rd and 4th day of August and on the 7th and 14th of September.
