Taking time-out of their continuous practice in preparation for the Palarong Pambansa to fulfill their spiritual needs, SOCCSKSARGEN delegates attended the celebration of the holy mass at the “Immaculada Concepcion” (Immaculate Conception) Parish Church located at the heart of the municipality of Sta. Cruz, Laguna last April 27.
Led by DepEd 12 OIC-RD Allan Farbnazo, the Catholic faithful of the region trooped to the cathedral after breakfast for the 9 o’clock morning mass.
Before the mass ended, the officiating priest welcomed the delegates and requested them to stand up to be recognized and likewise requested the mass attendees to applaud them.
The celebrant said he will pray for the success of this year’s week-long Palarong Pambansa that is hosted by their province.
Other delegates belonging to the Protestant sect and other Christian groups were likewise encouraged by the OIC-RD to go to their respective church for the Sunday worship.
