The PROTECH Center is all set and ready for the South Cotabato Regional Industrial Technology and Trade Expo 2016 which will officially start on July 4.
Emmanuel Jumilla, Assistant Provincial Planning and Development Officer and PROTECH Center Manager, and also concurrent Chairperson of this year’s Regional Expo disclosed, that different activities are lined for the month-long Expo.
The activities, Jumilla added, include Trade Fair and Exhibits (July 4 – 23), Live Band (July 4 -23), Regional Food Show (July10-28), TESDA Skills Competition (July 11-12), SPEED-IT Summit (July 13), SME Roving Academy (July 14), Pre-Employment Seminar for Local Applicants (July 15), DOST Durian-based Products (July 15-16), Passporting (July 17) and Job Fair (July 18).
Other activities with PROTECH as its venue are Zumba starting July 1-18 (every 6pm) and LGBT Handog Pampa-Beauty on July 15 (8am-12nn)
Jumilla further added that the yearly Expo created opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in engaging in business endeavors through the linkages established by the province with national government agencies.
After the 2016 T’nalak festival, PROTECH Center is preparing for another big activity on September which is the Kawayan Festival, which coincided with the World Bamboo Day celebration on September 12.
