SCCAC conducts yearend meeting

T’BOLI, SOUTH COTABATO — The South Cotabato Culture & Arts Council (SCCAC) held recently their 4th Quarter Regular Meeting at Lemsnolon Home Stay here attended by Arts & Culture Coordinators, Arts & Culture Sector Representatives and Resource Person.

 enior Tourism Operations Officer (STOO) Rodel Hilado of T’boli LGU presided over the meeting upon the decision of the council members present in the absence of the regular Presiding Officer Architect Carlito Uy.

 ational Commission for Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Provincial Officer Richard Trecero, the invited Resource Person, talked on the Indigenous Peoples Reform Act or IPRA Law with focus on the Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC) subject of said Law. 

He likewise thanked the SCCAC for having a program that gathers Arts & Culture coordinators, cultural workers and stakeholders regularly to discuss relevant issues and concerns.

LGUs T’boli, Lake Sebu, Polomolok, Tupi and the City of Koronadal presented their respective 2023 Acomplishment as well as their Plan for 2024 to the body.

e Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU), the SCCAC Secretariat headed by STOO Argie Ryan Asaria, likewise presented a similar report rendered by Arts & Culture Coordinator Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan.
