SoCot and TESDA XII conducts training on Swine and Chicken production at Sitio Blit

LAKE SEBU, SOUTH COTABATO -TESDA XII with the coordination of the Provincial government of South Cotabato conducts a 2 days training on Swine and Chicken Production at Sitio Blit, Brgy. Ned, Lake Sebu. More than 40 participants join the training

During the launching of Project IPEACE (Indigenous Peoples Empowered Towards Collective End) and Project TALA (TESDA Alay ay Liwanag at Asenso) last July 29, there are 6 organic piglets are distributed to the participants.

Sitio Blit is one of the remote areas of Barangay Ned and is one of the focus area for convergence initiative of national and local government agencies since they are also considered as geographically isolated and disadvantaged area (GIDA) community

Swine and chicken production is one of the livelihood program introduced to the community of Sitio Blit.

Other agencies present during the launching are the National Dairy Authority, National Coconut Authority, Department of Interior and Local Government, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Department of Labor and Employment, Provincial Social Welfare Development Office and other local government agencies.
