KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) personally delivered in-kind assistance to the typhoon affected areas in Agusan del sur.
Through the collaborative efforts of the people of South Cotabato, the initiative of individual partners, and the help of private sectors, the provincial government was able to gather tons of goods despite the short notice.
Meanwhile, the team successfully handed over the donations to the province of Agusan del sur.
Here is the list of relief goods given to the Province of Agusan del sur:
200 packs-(5 kls rice, 3 noodles, 2 sardines)
103 dozen-(plastic plates)
100 set- (hygiene kits)
100 sacks- assorted clothes
9 case (100’s/case)- sardines
PDRRM Officer Armando Gomez extends its gratitude to the team, to Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. and to the people of South Cotabato for travelling extra miles just to personally deliver the relief goods.
To recall, the mentioned province have been devastated by the recent typhoon Vicky which caused massive floods, dismantling of houses, and damaged properties.
