KORONADAL CITY, PHILIPPINES – The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through its Provincial Human Resource Management Office, recognizes over 100 employees during the annual provincial awards ceremony dubbed as the Araw ng Parangal held at the EMR Convention Center, Barangay Morales, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato last October 7, 2023.
The PHRMO awarded 83 employees for their years of service as civil servants categorized by years of service. Twenty-three (23) employees were awarded for 10 years of service, 28 employees for 15 years of service, 8 employees for 20 years of service, 6 employees for 25 years of service, 8 employees for 30 years of service, 5 employees each for the 35 years and 40 years in service.
In addition, the office also awarded offices and individuals who excelled in their performance as civil servants.
Nine provincial offices were awarded for their meritorious performance namely: PGSC Managed Hospitals, Provincial Accountant’s Office, Provincial Agriculture’s Office, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial General Services Office, Provincial Human Resource Management Office, Provincial Legal Office, Provincial Population Office, and the South Cotabato Economic Enterprise Management Office.
Furthermore, forty-six (46) individuals received an award for their meritorious performance in achieving an outstanding performance in their Individual Performance
Commitment and Review.
Meanwhile, among all the employees of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, four finalists were nominated for the Dangal ng South Cotabato Employee Integrity Awards.
Mr.Hernanie N. Gananan from the Provincial General Services Offices was awarded as the Dangal ng Employee Integrity Awardee for the Rank-and-file Category while Mr. Rolando D. Moreno was awarded as the Dangal ng Employee Integrity Awardee for the Supervisory Category.
South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. expressed his gratitude to all the employees of the province who helped him in delivering service with integrity in the province.
“Isang importanteng bagay sa akin bilang chief executive ng probinsyang ito, na ako mismo ang mag handover ng mga awards mga deserving na empleyado na patuloy na nagbibigay ng tama at serbisyong may integridad dito sa ating probinsya” – Governor Tamayo Jr. said in his speech.
The Araw ng Parangal and Dangal ng South Cotabato Integrity Awards is an annual awarding ceremony for the employees in the province and in celebration of the 123rd Civil Service Commission Anniversary.
