South Cotabato Provincial Government Recognizes 5th Special Forces Battalion for Outstanding Contribution to National Security

South Cotabato, Philippines—In an unwavering commitment to eradicate lawless elements and foster lasting peace in South Cotabato, the Provincial Government, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), has awarded the 5th Special Forces Battalion (Airborne) with a prestigious recognition for their outstanding contribution to national security.

Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. presented the Award of Recognition to the 5th Special Forces Battalion, acknowledging their remarkable efforts in dismantling the Dawlah Islamiyah Maguid Group operating within the province.
