The Provincial Population Office (PPO) of South Cotabato has been recognized for its excellence in population management during the 4th Quarter Local Government Population Management Conference organized by the Commission on Population and Development – Region XII.
The PPO received the Best in Data Utilization and Evidence-Based Planning Award in Region XII – Province Category in recognition of its effective use of data in decision-making, program planning, budget allocation, and policy development to address population-related concerns.
In addition, the office was honored with the Population and Development Integration Excellence Award, Region XII – Province Category, highlighting its efforts to incorporate population and development issues into local government plans and programs.
The PPO also received a Plaque of Recognition for Significant Achievements in Implementing the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action, underscoring its commitment to improving the welfare of South Cotabato’s residents through innovative and impactful initiatives.
The Provincial Population Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this success, including program partners, population volunteers, municipal and barangay local government units, and the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, led by Hon. Reynaldo Sucayan Tamayo Jr.
