The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through the South Cotabato Economic and Investment Promotion Center, has announced the organization of the 2024 Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSME) Expo. The event is scheduled for July 12-13, 2024, at the EMR Convention Center in the City of Koronadal.
The MSME Expo is being held in celebration of National MSME Month and as a significant component of South Cotabato’s 58th Foundation Anniversary and the 25th Tnalak Festival. The event aims to underscore the crucial role that MSMEs play in nation-building, providing a platform for these enterprises to showcase their products and services, expand their networks, and explore new business opportunities.
The expo is anchored on Executive Order No. 8, Series of 2024, also known as the “Buy Lokal, Go Lokal Program of South Cotabato.” This initiative is designed to boost the network and linkages of local MSMEs, promoting local products and encouraging the community to support homegrown businesses. The program aims to strengthen the local economy by fostering a supportive environment for MSMEs to thrive.
