Visitor Arrivals in South Cotabato reached a total of 1,143,169 from January to July this year, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.
Biggest contributor is the month of April, which is Holy Week month this year with 216,224 Same Day Visitors and Overnight Guests. It is followed by the month of July at 192,635, The annual T’nalak Festival of the province held last July contributed to the surge in tourist traffic.
January, one of the coolest months of the year, also contributed with 174,753. Other months registered as follows: June – 140,407, March – 140,048, May – 139,180, February – 138,922.
