South Cotabato visitor arrivals for the month of January this year kicked off with 175,274 Same Day Tourists and Overnight Guests, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.
Richie Matunding, ACTMU Statistician disclosed that Same Day Tourists accounted for 153,714 while Overnight Guests registered 21,558.
Breakdown of arrivals per LGU are as follows: Banga – 23,572, City of Koronadal – 15.706, Lake Sebu – 74,352, Norala – 3,555, Polomolok – 1,491, Sto. Nno – 710, Surallah – 10.562, Tampakan – 22,135, Tantangan – 278, T’boli – 3,226, Tupi – 19,687.
Foreign visitors meanwhile totaled 141.
